On November 18 and 19 2022, I installed a 2 day pop-up exhibition in the neighborhood of Silverlake in Los Angeles with my colleague Chun Ming Huang. The series was installed salon style; “Voyager” then “The Fire that cleans secrets” hung in concert with “Coatlicue River”. “Falling Apart” was installed on the bottom third of the gallery like seeds or eggs in the earth.
On November 4, 2016, I participated with a group of photographers in Todo Por La Foto Los Angeles (Road Trip) Gimnasio de Arte y Cultura. Images from my Los Angeles series were projected in the streets of Los Angeles and Mexico City.
On April 17, 2016, I exhibited 24 of my new works mounted on aluminum at an event in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. My brother, Nick, performed with his band, the Deep Burn. I want to continue to organize these one-night events that combine music and art, either as a solo artist or with similar visual artists.
